Blog of Webcomics’ Identity Crisis: The End of “Free Content”?

A “case in point” on the thought-provoking nature of the Floating Lightbulb: Today Bengo argues that webcomickers should stop thinking of themselves as giving content away for free.

  1. Hi Morgan,

I am not pro-printing as much as I think the culmination of a great comic is a bound anthology. I collect such volumes of my personal favorites and re-read them often.

Whether such indulgences are a thing of the past remains to be seen. Maybe the people who leave nine useless telephone books on my porch every year will dedicate their paper allotment to something timeless.
