Top 20 Most-Watched Sports Events for Week of May 20-26: Indianapolis 500 Edition
Because of the Memorial Day holiday, SBD never bothered to report numbers for this week and many of these numbers come from Sports Media Watch. I’d say Paulsen’s sources should be supplying SBD instead of whatever their actual sources are, since they managed to get full viewership figures for the CBS golf tournament when CBS normally doesn’t supply any viewership figures at all unless it’s a major or really impressive, but it didn’t help Paulsen with being able to supply me with viewership numbers for the Selection Show, so who knows. Also, I only realized later that the reported numbers for the Monaco Grand Prix, as reported in an NBC press release, were fast-national numbers, and I’m not completely certain of which rating for which TNT game is which since I had to get them from Bloomberg again.
These numbers are delayed a month to wait for SportsBusiness Daily’s ratings roundup to come out of the paywall. Other numbers from the same sources as before. Numbers in gray interpolated based on the rest of the chart.
