Sunday Night Football Flex Scheduling Watch: Week 9

Since it started in its current format as the NFL’s main primetime package in 2006, the defining feature of NBC’s Sunday Night Football has been the use of flexible scheduling to ensure the best matchups and showcase the best teams as the season goes along. Well, that’s the theory, anyway; the reality has not always lived up to the initial hype and has at times seemed downright mystifying. Regardless, I’m here to help you figure out what you can and can’t expect to see on Sunday nights on NBC.

A full explanation of all the factors that go into flexible scheduling decisions can be found on my NFL Flexible Scheduling Primer, but here’s the Cliffs Notes version with all the important points you need to know:

  • The season can be broken down into three different periods (four if you count the first four weeks where flexible scheduling does not apply at all) for flexible scheduling purposes, each with similar yet different rules governing them: the early flex period, from weeks 5 to 10; the main flex period, from weeks 11 to 17; and week 18. In years where Christmas forces either the Sunday afternoon slate or the Sunday night game to Saturday in Week 16, flex scheduling does not apply that week, and the main flex period begins week 10.
  • In all cases, only games scheduled for Sunday may be moved to Sunday night. Thursday and Monday night games are not affected by Sunday night flexible scheduling (discounting the “flexible scheduling” applied to Saturdays in December in recent years – see below).
  • During the early and main flex periods, one game is “tentatively” scheduled for Sunday night and listed with the Sunday night start time of 8:20 PM ET. This game will usually remain at that start time and air on NBC, but may be flexed out for another game and moved to 1, 4:05, or 4:25 PM ET on Fox or CBS, no less than 12 days in advance of the game.
  • No more than two games can be flexed to Sunday night over the course of the early flex period. If the NFL wishes to flex out a game in the early flex period twelve days in advance, CBS and Fox may elect to protect one game each from being moved to Sunday night. This is generally an emergency valve in situations where the value of the tentative game has plummeted since the schedule was announced, namely in cases of injury to a key star player.
  • CBS and Fox may also each protect games, historically in five out of six weeks of the main flex period (whether or not they received an additional protection with the expansion of the main flex period an additional week is unknown), but all of those protections must be submitted after week 5, week 4 in years where the main flex period begins week 10 (so it is always six weeks before the start of the main flex period).
  • No team may appear more than six times across the league’s three primetime packages on NBC, ESPN, and Fox/NFL Network, and only three teams are allowed to appear that often, with everyone else getting five. In addition, no team may appear more than four times on NBC. All teams’ number of appearances heading into this season may be seen here.
  • According to the league’s official page, teams are notified when “they are no longer under consideration or eligible for a move to Sunday night.” However, they rarely make this known to the fans, and the list of each network’s protections has never officially been made public. It used to leak fairly regularly, but has not leaked since 2014.
  • In all cases, the NFL is the ultimate arbiter of the schedule and consults with CBS, Fox, and NBC before moving any games to prime time. If the NFL does elect to flex out the Sunday night game, the network whose game is flexed in may receive the former tentative game, regardless of which network would “normally” air it under the “CBS=AFC, Fox=NFC” rules, keeping each network’s total number of games constant. At the same time, the NFL may also move games between 1 PM ET and 4:05/4:25 PM ET. However, this feature focuses primarily if not entirely on Sunday night flexible scheduling.
  • In Week 18, the entire schedule is set on only six days notice, ensuring that NBC gets a game with playoff implications, generally a game where the winner is the division champion. More rarely, NBC may also show an intra-division game for a wild card spot, or a game where only one team wins the division with a win but doesn’t win the division with a loss, but such situations are rare and 2018 and 2020, respectively, were the first times it showed such games. If no game is guaranteed to have maximum playoff implications before Sunday night in this fashion, the league has been known not to schedule a Sunday night game at all. To ensure maximum flexibility, no protections or appearance limits apply to Week 17. The NFL also arranges the rest of the schedule such that no team playing at 4:25 PM ET (there are no 4:05 games Week 17) could have their playoff fate decided by the outcome of the 1 PM ET games, which usually means most if not all of the games with playoff implications outside Sunday night are played at 4:25 PM ET. However, beginning this season, the NFL will also move two games to Saturday to be simulcast on ESPN and ABC.

Here are the current tentatively-scheduled games and my predictions:

Week 11 (November 21):

  • Selected game: Pittsburgh @ LA Chargers (presumably).

Week 12 (November 28):

  • Tentative game: Cleveland @ Baltimore
  • Prospects: 5-4 v. 6-2. The AFC North is competitive enough that an above-.500 record is still bad enough for the Browns to once again find themselves in a tie for last place, but they still only trail the division-leading Ravens by a single win.
  • Likely protections: Titans-Patriots, Steelers-Bengals, Chargers-Broncos, or nothing (CBS) and Rams-Packers (FOX).
  • Other possible games: Thanksgiving weekend, paucity of good games, but as it happens at the moment there are three potentially unprotected games involving teams at or above .500. Titans-Patriots might be a skosh lopsided, while Steelers-Bengals and Chargers-Broncos both pit 5-3 teams against 5-4 teams. Bucs-Colts is at least theoretically a dark horse.
  • Analysis: Worst-case scenario for the tentative is 5-5 v. 6-3, which would also put the Patriots at 6-4. If we assume Titans-Patriots needs to get less lopsided, we’re hoping they lose to the Saints to get to 7-3. That’s only a game better on both sides which generally doesn’t beat the tentative game bias, and the Titans still don’t have the name value to overcome that. On top of that, since getting rights to the Thanksgiving night game and except for the period when they had TNF, it’s felt like NBC has been particularly reticent to flex out of games Thanksgiving weekend which would pose an added logistical challenge in trying to rearrange travel plans over a three-day period.
  • Final prediction: Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens (no change).

Week 13 (December 5):

  • Tentative game: San Francisco @ Seattle
  • Prospects: 3-5 v. 3-5. The teams are only a game out of the third wild card and Russell Wilson is looking good to return this week, but the Seahawks weren’t playing that great even with him and they’re playing the 7-2 Packers, so this is still very vulnerable. (To think CBS is now worried about losing the other quarterback in that matchup than they were worried about a couple weeks ago!)
  • Likely protections: Ravens-Steelers (CBS) and Cardinals-Bears, Bucs-Falcons, or nothing (FOX).
  • Other possible games: Chargers-Bengals and Broncos-Chiefs each pit two teams above .500, with Bucs-Falcons involving a team at that mark. That’s not a particularly inspiring slate, so I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of this game keeping its spot just yet.

Week 14 (December 12):

  • Tentative game: Chicago @ Green Bay
  • Prospects: 3-6 v. 7-2. At this point the Packers are more concerned about the first-round bye than the division.
  • Likely protections: Bills-Bucs (CBS) and Cowboys-Football Team (FOX).
  • Other possible games: Ravens-Browns and Raiders-Chiefs are the only unprotected games involving two teams at .500, and NBC is already slated to air the other halves of those divisional matchups. Falcons-Panthers has potential at 4-4 v. 4-5, but if it or Niners-Bengals don’t go on a tear over the next few weeks this game could keep its spot by default.

Week 15 (December 18):

  • Tentative game: None (2 games to be moved to Saturday). As an experiment in preparation for the introduction of Monday night flex scheduling next year (and Saturday of Week 18 this year), I’m including a separate segment for analysis of the games that could be moved to Saturday this week. The NFL’s schedule page says that the games to be moved will be announced “no later than four weeks prior to game day”, which I read as before the bulk of the Week 11 slate, so we could get an announcement after Week 10’s games are complete.
  • Possible games: Jets (2-6)-Dolphins (2-7), RedHogs (2-6)-Eagles (3-6), Raiders (5-3)-Browns (5-4), Panthers (4-5)-Bills (5-3), Patriots (5-4)-Colts (4-5).
  • Analysis: There are, realistically, three games for two spots and all the teams involved are clustered around .500. My quick-and-dirty analysis is that if exactly one of the Panthers and Colts win the other team’s game is out, and the only way for Raiders-Browns to stay on Sunday is if both teams lose and the Panthers and Colts both win, and even then a Bills loss would give Panthers-Bills the same pair of records as Raiders-Browns with the latter probably having more name value. That said, with the decision coming so far in advance and all the games being close, I could see the league take Panthers-Bills and Pats-Colts from a “battle for the AFC East” perspective, at least if the Panthers and Colts win. If push comes to shove Raiders-Browns probably has the most name value, then Pats-Colts, then Panthers-Bills, but the deciding factor between the latter two games might be the relative record between the Bills and Patriots, or alternatively, how close the Panthers or Colts are to the playoffs.

Week 15 (December 19):

  • Tentative game: New Orleans @ Tampa Bay
  • Prospects: 5-3 v. 6-2, a battle of the top two teams in the division – assuming the Saints hold up without Jameis Winston.
  • Likely protections: Bengals-Broncos if anything (CBS) and Packers-Ravens or Seahawks-Rams (FOX).
  • Other possible games: As usual, assuming the games set aside for a potential move to Saturday can’t be protected. If Packers-Ravens is protected, Titans-Steelers is probably the best of the Sunday afternoon slate, followed by Bengals-Broncos. Besides whichever game doesn’t move to Saturday, Falcons-Niners and Seahawks-Rams are dark horses.

Week 16 (December 26):

  • Tentative game: Washington @ Dallas
  • Prospects: 2-6 v. 6-2. The Cowboys have escaped last season’s NFC East mediocrity, which just makes this look lopsided, but the only way this likely gets flexed out is if the Cowboys could have the division on lockdown and have their seed locked in, and since this is now the third-to-last week of the season and the Cowboys are currently in a tie for the 3 seed, that’s not likely.
  • Likely protections: Ravens-Bengals, Bills-Patriots, Steelers-Chiefs, Broncos-Raiders, or nothing (CBS) and Bucs-Panthers, Bears-Seahawks, or nothing (FOX).
  • Other possible games: I listed four protection options for CBS this week and somehow all four currently pit two teams above .500. Bucs-Panthers is a dark horse with Rams-Vikings clinging by a thread.

Week 17 (January 2):

  • Tentative game: Minnesota @ Green Bay
  • Prospects: 3-5 v. 7-2. The Vikings are actually only a game out of the third wild card, but this is still lopsided.
  • Likely protections: Chiefs-Bengals or Broncos-Chargers (CBS) and Rams-Ravens or Cardinals-Cowboys (FOX).
  • Other possible games: Pretty much comes down to whichever game Fox didn’t protect; CBS’ potentially protected games each pit two teams above .500 but pale in comparison to Fox’s. Falcons-Bills pits a team at .500 against a team above that mark, while Panthers-Saints and Raiders-Colts are dark horses.

Week 18 (January 9):

  • Tentative game: None (NBC will show game with guaranteed playoff implications).
  • Games to watch: Panthers-Bucs, Saints-Falcons, Steelers-Ravens, Bengals-Browns, Chargers-Raiders, Chiefs-Broncos. The AFC East games could be dark horses as well.

  1. Hey there Morgan,

Nicely done post this week. I really liked the breakdown of the Week 15 Saturday game situation and yes, it’s possible that those 2 Saturday games are decided at the conclusion of this Week 10 and not at the conclusion of next week’s Week 11. Time will tell.

Also, the new playoff picture is awesome. 🙂

Have a great week and here’s to the upcoming Week 10 of the 2021 NFL season.

  2. Here’s my take on things so far.

    Week 11

    # 1 – Steelers(5-3) @ Chargers(5-3) <—tentative
    # 2 – Cowboys(6-2) @ Chiefs(5-4)
    # 3 – Bengals(5-4) @ Raiders(5-3)

Tentative – Steelers(5-3) @ Chargers(5-3) – this game is a lock now due to both being 5-3. This game seemed in bad shape a few short weeks ago, but no more.

    Week 12

    # 1 – Rams(7-2) @ Packers(7-2)
    # 2 – Browns(5-4) @ Ravens(6-2) <—the tentative
    # 3 – Titans(7-2) @ Patriots(5-4)
    # 4 – Steelers(5-3) @ Bengals(5-4)
    # 5 – Chargers(5-3) @ Broncos(5-4)

Tentative – Browns(5-4) @ Ravens(6-2) – The Rams @ Packers is my choice, but the tentative gained strength this week and looks good to stay. Some rather decent games on Thanksgiving weekend and that's usually not the case.

    Week 13

    # 1 – Ravens(6-2) @ Steelers(5-3)
    # 2 – Chargers(5-3) @ Bengals(5-4)
    # 3 – Broncos(5-4) @ Chiefs(5-4)
    # 4 – Buccaneers(6-2) @ Falcons(4-4)

    Tentative – 49ers(3-5) @ Seahawks(3-5) – 3 much better alternatives at the moment

    Week 14

Tentative – Bears(3-6) @ Packers(7-2) – starting to lose its luster with the Bears falling to 3-6 tonight vs. the referees, I mean the Steelers

    Week 15

    Tentative – Saints(5-3) @ Buccaneers(6-2) – this looks like a lock to stay put

Also of note for this week’s games: 2 of a pre-selected 5 games will be played on Sat. 12/18/21 on NFL Network exclusively

Panthers(4-5) @ Bills(5-3) – can still get in, but falling fast due to Patriots/Colts
    Raiders(5-3) @ Browns(5-4) – looking good
    Patriots(5-4) @ Colts(4-5) – just surpassed Panthers/Bills in my book
Jets(2-6) @ Dolphins(2-7) – 5 cities in the whole USA will see this game on Sunday 12/19/21
    Redskins(2-6) @ Eagles(3-6)

The decision has to be made by the conclusion of the Week 11 games at the latest and down to 2 weeks away for that decision.

    Week 16

Tentative – Redskins(2-6) @ Cowboys(6-2) – unless this game is a total mismatch and a much better alternative game is found, this stays put. And it's starting to look like a total mismatch. Jerry Jones could be unhappy to lose a SNF game at Jerry World…..hmmmm…..Cowboys losing this week helped this game, but…

    Week 17

    Tentative – Vikings(3-5) @ Packers(7-2) – time will tell

Week 18 (sounds so weird to say that)

2 games will be moved from their preliminary Sunday slot to Sat. 01/08/22 and they’ll both be aired on ESPN/ABC. This is an interesting move to me. These 2 games and the SNF game will both be announced with the rest of the Week 18 schedule, at the conclusion of the Week 17 schedule (at the latest).

    Tentative – none of course

Current Games and Records of each team

    Jets(2-6) @ Bills(5-3)
    Patriots(5-4) @ Dolphins(2-7)
Steelers(5-3) @ Ravens(6-2) – looking very good for a Nationally televised game (for now)
Bengals(5-4) @ Browns(5-4) – currently looking good for a Nationally televised game, uh maybe…..hmmm…..Bengals fading?
    Titans(7-2) @ Texans(1-8)
    Colts(4-5) @ Jaguars(2-6)
Chiefs(5-4) @ Broncos(5-4) – I still believe the Broncos will keep this from being a Nationally televised game
Chargers(5-3) @ Raiders(5-3) – currently looking really good for a Nationally televised game
    Redskins(2-6) @ Giants(3-6)
    Cowboys(6-2) @ Eagles(3-6)
    Packers(7-2) @ Lions(0-8)
    Bears(3-6) @ Vikings(3-5)
    Saints(5-3) @ Falcons(4-4)
    Panthers(4-5) @ Buccaneers(6-2)
    Seahawks(3-5) @ Cardinals(8-1)
    49ers(3-5) @ Rams(7-2)

I currently have 3 games looking pretty good for the 3 Nationally televised games in Week 18. We’ll see how that progresses.

    Any thoughts anyone?

Go Pack Go this week at Lambeau vs. the Seahawks and if no Rodgers, we could lose.

  3. I don’t see changes in Week 12 with the AFC North race as tight as it is:

With the Chargers winning on Sunday and the Bengals likely to be remaining in the thick of things when it’s time to pick for Week 13 (even at 5-5), I suspect that game likely replaces 49ers-Seahawks, especially with the 49ers losing again as they are now 3-5 (as are the Seahawks) and can be no better than 5-5 when that decision has to be made. That all said, given the Falcons right now hold the third WC at 4-4, it’s quite possible that game will matter enough to keep it.

Week 14 I suspect we could see the rematch of Ravens-Browns with both winning Sunday as the AFC North race figures to continue to be air-tight. Falcons-Panthers is now a possibility since the Falcons do currently as noted hold the third wild card while the Panthers are a half-game out of that AND just re-signed Cam Newton. Newton being with the Panthers might just be enough to make that the SNF game.

Week 15 Right now no change, but the Saints need to get it together to keep it there.

I could see the NFL put Football Team-Eagles as the Amazon Prime game that Saturday because the Eagles even at 3-6 are actually only 1 1/2 games out of the last wild card AND own tie-breakers on BOTH the Falcons (who hold it) and Panthers (one-half game back). If they are say 5-6 when that decision has to be made, that makes sense for that slot even if the Football team is 2-10 when that decision is made. Raiders-Browns looks like a LOCK for the Saturday prime time slot UNLESS there is a feeling the Saints falter and Raiders-Browns may be needed for SNF and Panthers-Bills goes to that slot.

Week 16: Steelers-Chiefs is most likely to be flexed in because that game is likely to have Wild Card implications at this point and Raiders-Broncos is now also a possibity with AFC West and Wild Card implications in play, especially given the Broncos beat-down of the Cowboys on Sunday.

Week 17: Still say Cardinals-Cowboys is likely SNF if that is for playoff seeding, especially given FOX already committed to Rams-Ravens at 4:25 (with that game flexed into SNF if FOX protected ARI-DAL

Still too early for Week 18. I do think the NFL needs to consider adding a second bye week (tied to Thursday night football) with a new Week 19 having all games in one conference at 3:00 and the other conference at 8:15 and split up between NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, ESPN/LivWell or LAFF, Amazon Prime/Twitch/NFL Network/MOVIES (FOX-DT2), CBSSN/DECADES and FS1/BUZZR. Doing that allows Week 18 to be done the same way it is this year EXCEPT the ESPN/ABC games can be known after say Week 16 along with SNF and that week being the “double doubleheader” (note: Where there are multiple outlets, that reflects DT-2/3/4 channels of ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates where the games are over-the-air in addition to cable.

  4. Spence:

I said Raiders-Broncos also was a possibility. Basically, whichever of Steelers-Chiefs OR Raiders-Broncos is NOT protected by CBS gets flexed in at this point.

  5. Spence:

Ravens can only be flexed in once, and I already have them flexed in against the Browns in Week 14. If it is not, THEN Ravens-Bengals in Week 16 is a possibility. The other half of Bills-Pats is Monday Night Football and I think CBS would actually protect that game .

  6. Ravens Browns is already Sunday Night Week 12. They won’t have it on Sunday Night twice. The NFL loves Bears-Packers. They aren’t going to flex it for a game that is already on Sunday Night

  7. Spence:

You would think that, but if Bears-Packers is as one-sided as it appears it is heading, then I see the NFL not having a choice, even if it means airing both halves of a division rivalry on Sunday Night Football (and that did happen with Giants-Cowboys several years ago). Ravens-Browns could very easily wind up seeing both games on SNF.

  8. Hi, Spence. I think you’re right about week 14 SNF Packers vs. Bears at Lambeau Field. In my honest opinion, it should stay there because the NFL loves having the Packers vs. Bears game at Lambeau Field SNF NBC the best. And perhaps the NFL loves having Vikings vs. Packers on SNF NBC the best also either at Lambeau Field or at US Bank Stadium despite the Vikings vs. Packers game at Lambeau Field is scheduled to be on SNF NBC this season.

  9. The one thing that may keep Bears-Packers on SNF in Week 14 is virtually every team except the Lions right now either is in the playoffs or has a chance to make it. Same reason 49ers-Seahawks may stay on SNF in Week 13 even if the Rams lose tonight.

The #6 and #7 seeds may both be in play as the Saints are 5-4 and don’t really have a top QB with Winston out for the year and the Panthers, even with yesterday’s showing are at 5-5 and have a BRUTAL final four games that include TWO with the Bucs and a game at the Saints sandwiched in between and the Bills before those final three games that is now a candidate for Saturday night in Week 15.

If the Eagles beat the Saints on Sunday and are 5-6 and the #6 and #7 seeds are in play, Football Team-Eagles likely winds up the Amazon Prime game in Week 15, especially if WFT beats the Panthers on Sunday and the #7 seed is 5-5 or 5-6.

  10. Hi Walt,

Both Saturday games in Week 15 are slated for NFL Network. That being said, it doesn’t mean that 1 of the 2 games won’t be simulcast on Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime isn’t the place to exclusively watch 1 of the 2 games.

    Jeff

  11. Here’s my take on things so far.

    Week 12

    # 1 – Rams(7-3) @ Packers(8-2)
    # 2 – Titans(8-2) @ Patriots(6-4)
    # 3 – Steelers(5-3-1) @ Bengals(5-4)
    # 4 – Browns(5-5) @ Ravens(6-3) <—the tentative
    # 5 – Buccaneers(6-3) @ Colts(5-5)
    # 5 – Chargers(5-4) @ Broncos(5-5)

Tentative – Browns(5-5) @ Ravens(6-3) – The Rams @ Packers is my choice, but the looks good to stay in my opinion and like this week's Browns game, it looks like it could be ugly in my opinion. Some rather decent games on Thanksgiving weekend and that's usually not the case.

    Week 13

    # 1 – Ravens(6-3) @ Steelers(5-3-1)
    # 2 – Chargers(5-4) @ Bengals(5-4)
    # 3 – Broncos(5-5) @ Chiefs(6-4)

Tentative – 49ers(4-5) @ Seahawks(3-6) – 3 better alternatives at the moment, but like Walt said, with the 7th seed in the NFC being so tight, this might stay put. Hopefully not.

    Week 14

    # 1 – Bills(6-3) @ Buccaneers(6-3)
    # 2 – Ravens(6-3) @ Browns(5-5)
    # 3 – Raiders(5-4) @ Chiefs(6-4)

Tentative – Bears(3-6) @ Packers(8-2) – starting to lose its luster with the Bears being the reason and Green Bay also being 8-2. Currently a matchup of teams 4 1/2 games apart in the standings.

    Week 15

    Tentative – Saints(5-4) @ Buccaneers(6-3) – this looks like a lock to stay put

Also of note for this week’s games: 2 of a pre-selected 5 games will be played on Sat. 12/18/21 on NFL Network exclusively

    Panthers(5-5) @ Bills(6-3) – now my # 2 choice to move to Saturday
    Raiders(5-4) @ Browns(5-5) – now my # 3 choice to move to Saturday
    Patriots(6-4) @ Colts(5-5) – now my # 1 choice to move to Saturday
Jets(2-7) @ Dolphins(3-7) – 5 cities in the whole USA will see this game on Sunday 12/19/21
    Redskins(3-6) @ Eagles(4-6) – hmmm…….potentially

The decision has to be made by the conclusion of the Week 11 games at the latest and down to 1 week away for that decision.

    Week 16

Tentative – Redskins(3-6) @ Cowboys(7-2) – unless this game is a total mismatch and a much better alternative game is found, this stays put. And it's starting to look like a total mismatch. Jerry Jones could be unhappy to lose a SNF game at Jerry World…..hmmmm…..Cowboys losing this week helped this game, but…

    Week 17

Tentative – Vikings(4-5) @ Packers(8-2) – time will tell, but the up and down Vikings keep this game going back and forth on the keep it/ditch it meter

    Jets(2-7) @ Bills(6-3)
    Patriots(6-4) @ Dolphins(3-7)
    Steelers(5-3-1) @ Ravens(6-3) – looking very good for a Nationally televised game
Bengals(5-4) @ Browns(5-5) – currently looking good for a Nationally televised game, uh maybe…..hmmm…..Bengals fading? and Browns fading?
    Titans(8-2) @ Texans(1-8)
    Colts(5-5) @ Jaguars(2-7)
Chiefs(6-4) @ Broncos(5-5) – I still believe the Broncos will keep this from being a Nationally televised game
Chargers(5-4) @ Raiders(5-4) – currently looking pretty good for a Nationally televised game
    Redskins(3-6) @ Giants(3-6)
    Cowboys(7-2) @ Eagles(4-6)
    Packers(8-2) @ Lions(0-8-1)
    Bears(3-6) @ Vikings(4-5)
    Saints(5-4) @ Falcons(4-5)
    Panthers(5-5) @ Buccaneers(6-3) – gaining on a chance for a Nationally televised game
    Seahawks(3-6) @ Cardinals(8-2)
    49ers(4-5) @ Rams(7-3)

I currently have 3 games looking decently good for the 3 Nationally televised games in Week 18. We’ll see how that progresses.

    Any thoughts anyone?

Go Pack Go this week in Minnesota. 🙂

  12. It appears that no changes on any of the Sunday games on NFL week 12 and it also appears that Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns game will stay on SNF week 12 the end of this month.

  13. Hi Brian,

I just checked https://nflcommunications.com/Pages/Home.aspx and yeah, nothing there about any changes. This is still Tuesday and a post could happen before the end of the day today regarding changes, but since it’s past 3 p.m. on the East Coast (where the NFL’s New York offices are), I think Week 12 is set in stone with no changes coming,

    Jeff
